Winston-Salem Remodeling — Designed and Built Under One Roof
Most remodeling projects in Winston-Salem go sideways in the gap between the designer and the builder. The drawings say one thing, the crew builds another, and the homeowner spends six months playing referee.
June Delugas Interiors closes that gap. We are a full-service design and remodeling firm with in-house general contracting, which means the same team that draws your floor plan orders your tile, manages your trades, and hands you the keys. One point of contact. One set of standards. Premier design, professionally built.
We have been designing homes in the Triad for more than 25 years from our design center on Old Glory Road, and a large share of our work is in Winston-Salem — Buena Vista, Ardmore, West End, Reynolda, Sherwood Forest and the surrounding neighborhoods.
What “design-build” actually means for your remodel
In a traditional remodel you hire a designer, then take their plans out to bid with contractors, then hope the bids come back near your budget. Every handoff is a place where cost, schedule and intent get lost.
In a design-build remodel, design and construction sit on the same team from day one. The practical difference for you:
- Your design is priced as it is drawn, so there are no surprises when construction bids come back.
- Selections — cabinetry, tile, plumbing, lighting, paint, hardware — are made in our Winston-Salem–area design center with real samples in front of you, not from a screen.
- One project manager owns the schedule and the trades. When a question comes up on site, it gets answered by someone who was in the design meetings.
- The finished space looks like the design, because the people who designed it were there when it was built.

Our remodeling process
- Discovery call. A short conversation about your home, what is not working, your timeline and your budget range. No charge.
- In-home consultation. We walk the space, take measurements and photographs, and talk through what is possible structurally and what it is likely to cost.
- Design and planning. Floor plans, elevations and 3D views. We revise until the plan is right before a single dollar goes into construction.
- Selections. You meet us at our design center and choose tile, cabinetry, counters, fabrics and finishes from physical samples.
- Proposal and schedule. A detailed scope and a firm construction schedule so you know exactly what is being built and when.
- Construction. Our in-house team and long-standing trade partners build it, with a project manager keeping you updated throughout.
- The reveal. Furnishings, window treatments and styling go in last, so you walk into a finished room — not a construction site with new counters.
Winston-Salem neighborhoods we work in
Winston-Salem’s housing stock runs from 1920s Ardmore bungalows to Buena Vista estates to newer construction out toward Lewisville. Each comes with its own remodeling realities: plaster walls and knob-and-tube in the older neighborhoods, awkward 1990s floor plans in the newer ones.
We regularly work in Buena Vista, Ardmore, West End, Reynolda, Sherwood Forest, Washington Park, Country Club, Robinhood and Bethabara, and throughout Forsyth County — as well as Lewisville, Clemmons, Advance, Mocksville, Greensboro and Lake Norman.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a remodel take?
Design and planning typically run 4–6 weeks. Construction runs 6–8 weeks for a bathroom, 8–12 weeks for a kitchen, and longer for whole-home projects or additions. We give you a schedule before construction starts.
Do you work in Winston-Salem if your showroom is in Clemmons?
Yes. Our design center is on Old Glory Road, about fifteen minutes from downtown Winston-Salem, and Winston-Salem is one of our most active service areas.
Do I have to use your design services to hire you as a contractor?
Our work is design-build, so design is part of every project. That integration is what keeps the result faithful to the plan.
Can I live in the house during the remodel?
For most kitchen and bath projects, yes — we will talk through containment, dust control and a temporary kitchen plan. For whole-home renovations, most clients move out for at least part of the schedule.
Do you help with furniture and window treatments after construction?
Yes, and we recommend it. Our showroom and access to 500+ manufacturers means the room gets finished, not just built.
What is the first step?
Book a discovery call. It takes about fifteen minutes and costs nothing.
