We are lucky to live in an area where the furniture market is close by. It comes twice a year in High Point, North Carolina. We just spent two days over the weekend visiting vendors where we purchase most of our furnishings. Our trips are inspirational, and we learn so much. We study all the new introductions, take photos, and mental notes. Additionally, our photo library will come in handy for more than one project. The photos taken are just a glimpse of the new colors and styles to come. We saw strong greens in every showroom and as usual numerous spectrums of greens. Blues and greens had an equally strong presence. Blue seems to always come out as the winner. Shades of blue were in everything including lamps, bowls, fabrics, and furnishings. So many talented designers produce new products for the NC Manufacturers. Sherwin Williams color of the year was proudly displayed on a wall with ideas of how to use the color, Redend Point SW9081 and another showroom featured a wall of Vivid Magenta which is the Pantone Color of the year.
