I always look forward to colorful décor this time of year. There are recipes for cakes of red, white, and blue as well as salads using red strawberries, white coconut, and blueberries. As designers, we sometimes have the opportunity to help our clients decorate for this holiday. Using antique blue and white pottery is a good way to artfully set your table. Plates of white and napkins of blue texture add dimension. Red candles burn a warm glow. All that is needed is the fireworks and small American flags as gifts to all the guests placed at each setting.
