It is that time of year when we begin to think of our plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas. What are we going to cook and how do we get our friends together and also schedule family?
A visually interesting table setting is a beginning. Most of us have more than one set of dishes. For me, I purchased a complete 4 place setting of 4 colors from a French antique dealer many years ago that I can blend into any setting. We tend to be casual at Thanksgiving and a bit more formal at Christmas. If you have a white set, mix it with your grandmother’s antique dishes to freshen the look. Light flowing through your stemware will allow a sparkle. Set your table so there are no bad seats.
It is all about getting together and having a good time!
