When starting a project, which can be remodeling, home furnishings, ideas, and/or bed linens, we pride ourselves with the ability to create a cohesive home. As a complete design firm, we try to make a home connected room by room with a classic flow. We select one color that we carry throughout the home. It can be just a touch of blue or coral or teal. The canvas comes together in our heads when we pull it together. We resource the needs and have meetings with our clients to make suggestions. We have meetings, either by zoom or by social distancing, in our conference center at our design studio. Most clients feel comfortable to meet because we are off the normal pathway to crowds. We all wear our masks. We do have retail in the front of our space, but we also have offices in our back where we are six feet apart and where we keep most of our library of samples.
It is essential to have the space we need to house samples. Samples of rugs, carpet, tile, lamps, furniture, sofas, pillows, thousands of fabrics, catalogs, and computers for design. We had several couples downsizing to NC last year that did not want to bring old furnishings with them and, therefore, we had what they needed. Creativity. The other good thing is if they needed the house painted, we can do it. If they needed a room remodeled, we can do it. We order and change out light fixtures. We basically turn-key projects. We are a design firm with contractors on staff and we have a license. With Covid lurking amongst us, it keeps the exposure low for our clients. One stop shopping is the best way to get your home redesigned, furnished, and remodeled.
