We are very fortunate to have the privilege to re-decorate many master bedrooms. For this special one, the client wanted to keep the blue/green color of her walls and replace all of her existing furnishings.
With most of our design projects, we begin with a floor plan rendering. We started the process by choosing the new Suzanne Kasler®, by Hickory Chair, fabric and wood bed. The lines of the bed softened the room. The next step was to add beautiful layers of bedding linens and two Hickory Chair side chests. We then chose two coordinating finishes for the chests. The existing chair and ottoman were in good shape and the client wanted to reupholster them. A perfect fabric was selected. One of the pleasurable parts of our job is finding the fabrics and colors to make any room dance.
We added a wood stained dresser to match the top of the side chests. A floor length mirror was a necessity to this project and it opened up the room and reflected all the wonderful layers and textures. Don’t you think this is an “Inviting Space?”
