Sweet Dreams, Will!

When our team at June DeLugas Interiors was called by a friend to help with paint colors, bedding, curtains, and a theme for their two-year old little boy, we were thrilled to come to the rescue.  A little boy’s room gives you the ability to be creative, but what you really find out is you are fulfilling Dad’s dream.

The lucky little boy’s name was Will and he was sure he wanted a green room!  He came into the store for a field trip with Mom and Dad.  Together, we looked at bedding in the entire gamut of colors.  As a very decisive little boy, Will shrilled with excitement over fabrics with red, blue, and green.   Our first step was to have the walls painted green.  The second  step was to add blue bedding onto the twin beds.  The accents came with stripped pillow shams and a dust ruffle that included Will’s favorite colors of red, blue and green.    Of course, the window treatments were red, blue, and green.  Being most excited about the project, Dad came by the store several times to discuss ideas.  He found colorful skate boards to hang on the wall, and along with the ambient and task lighting, the boards created the vision both Dad and Will had envisioned!

With sweet dreams for Will, the project continues as we have proposed canvas paintings of Will enjoying his favorite things like riding his dirt bike and four-wheeler.   Leigh Ann is our on-staff artist who can fashion the artwork after Leroy Neiman which is one of Dad’s favorite sports poster artists.

Skateboards are Cool!
