Most of you don’t know that we are a full-service design firm that provides turnkey remodeling for kitchens and baths. From start-to-finish, we take a client through the entire process. We begin with measuring the project and creating a scaled CAD drawing of any rearranged placement or ideas of what can be done. Then we move on to selecting the granite, tile, window treatments, and paint colors for each room. Sometimes, we render the plans with color so the client can better visualize the end result. We love creating a reveal of our projects. Most of our clients are too busy to do the running around and prefer us to show them a completed plan. We normally pull multiple options together with two countertop and tile selections. We additionally order the cabinets, plumbing, lighting, and hardware and have everything delivered to the site for our contractor to do the work. We also organize and schedule all of the vendors. Most of the time, the client asks us to move on to the bedroom, if it is the master bath, and update those furnishings as well. If it is a kitchen, clients ask us to help them renovate the living spaces, too. For families today, the common space, which is the kitchen-keeping room, is where family and friends gather. Clients tell me “I want it to be inviting and comfortable.” When my family comes home during the holidays, it is always the kitchen where we all gather. We don’t have a TV in the kitchen so it’s not the TV that brings us together, it is the desire to be together.
