Starting with light fixtures for a new project that needs a little modern touch seems to be the norm for us these days. Wallpaper is another way to add a modern touch to a traditional home. We often change out the artwork and pillows as well for that modern aspect to move from traditional. It is easier than you think to marry these two styles together. We have fabrics, lighting, wallpaper, and art to allow us to make these transitions for our clients when they bring their project to us. There are times we change out the rugs as well depending on our client’s budget. With the holidays quickly approaching, these are a few ways that we can change client’s homes. A remodel would run into next year. Some of the things on my to do list are to insert a refrigerator drawer into a perfect space in my kitchen, change out my shower enclosure tile to a new porcelain with no grout lines and wallpaper my guest bathroom. This list is enough to do for the next 3 months. You can make changes as well by starting with one of these ideas with blends of Modern and Traditional.
