Updating a room doesn’t mean you have to replace all your furniture and change everything about the room…sometimes small changes can make a big difference.

Adding the right decorative touches to a room can create a lot of excitement.  The first phase of our latest project was adding bright turquoise lamps and metal tables.  We brightened the metallic finish on the frame of the art above the sofa and added large, colorful pillows and a soft textural throw to the leather couch to give this room a lift. Window treatments always give a finished look to a room.  The unique drapery hardware mounted high on the wall with goblet pleated draperies draw your eyes to look up and out the window to the beautiful view of the back yard and outdoor living.  The new art and vases for the mantel were perfect for the next wall.  The small and busy fire screen was replaced by a simpler one with a new shape, but the fireplace surround still needed a change.  We decided we could paint the brick white for now, and give them the option of upgrading to decorative tile at a later date.  Love the changes!  See the photos below in different phases.
