Fall is here and that means Parade of Homes for Winston-Salem and Greensboro.  We get excited about meeting so many people and showcasing our work, along with builder, Don Hamrick.  He allows us to be creative and come up with new ideas.  Each year, we need to be different than last year.  We have been packing up accessories and furnishings, along with art, to showcase in the Buena Vista Gables, which is an endearing term for cottage.  We are pleased with the outcome of such a beautiful home and location.  Everyone knows the area and the road, Buena Vista Road, here in Winston-Salem.

We have mixed old and added fresh new furnishings.  Light walls and trim marry well with our wallpaper in the dining room.   The light fixtures coordinate with the theme of the house.  Warm and interesting.  The painted custom designed tv bookcase and the butler’s pantry showcase a glazed blue green color with a set of barn doors that open and shut over the TV.   Also, the pantry is not your typical pantry.  It has an antique barn door, and the entry from the garage has heart pine floors.  The custom bookcase in the keeping room off from kitchen has heart pine chevron doors built by the cabinet company.  Families will love this open space kitchen with a keeping room, large island, and breakfast room all in one.  The window treatments we designed from Thibaut Fabrics adorn the keeping room and the dining room.  Beautifully coordinated fabrics add so much to homes.  Window treatments warm up a space and frame the window to bring the outside in.  It feels larger when you have panels framing windows.

Come on out!  October 13-l4 and October 20-21 from l to 5.  We will be there.  3217 Buena Vista Road.  Winston-Salem, NC
