I don’t know about you, but I’m psyched this year about the holidays. It has been a tough two years to navigate past holidays because of the pandemic. However, this year I have seen so much enthusiasm in the world getting ready to celebrate. We celebrate Thanksgiving which gives us an extra holiday. Christmas is celebrated throughout the world. The Europeans look forward to their Christmas markets and we look forward to getting together with family and friends. In our area, I’m looking forward to some of the Christmas home shows and open houses. But I want to keep in mind decorating. Bedrooms are a little more important around this time of the year because of guests and family staying in our homes. I have examined my bedding and linens. For me, it is time to replace one of my guest bedroom linens. Time flew by and the upstairs bedroom has 17-year-old bedding, comforter, and shams. I have a great selection of bedding in our Clemmons retail location. I’m going shopping to put a plan together to refresh before my guests arrive. I personally love a white or natural bedding coverlet and shams and then accent with a nice print. When I have the inventory, I throw in an element of surprise for the accent pillows. For Christmas, it could be Christmas decorative pillows and an extra throw across the bed for more color and two-fold blanket to cover up with on a chair or for extra cover for the bed. Our favorite lines are Bella Notte, Peacock Alley, and Eastern Accents. So many choices and great washable bedding. Don’t forget the sheets. Our guests look forward to the nice sheets on their beds. Soft and luxurious is what my son says. He asked last year for a set for his Christmas present for his home. Other guests usually mention the sheets. I love to treat guests to nice bedding because they remember it more than anything about our home. If you need help, we will be glad to suggest something new for your bedrooms. Otherwise, there are many choices on the market.  Guests are important and your Décor should be too.
