With the unpredictable temperature and the ever-changing weather, it’s hard to work in our gardens and spend time outdoors lately. While we can’t change Mother Nature, it is possible to change our exterior spaces in preparation for the warm weather to come and for outdoor entertaining. Whether spending time at your permanent home or a vacation home at the lake or beach, my advice is the same. When designing for outdoor spaces, think durable, instead of delicate. There are hundreds of fabrics that are available for covering your outdoor cushions and for pillows, such as Crypton fabrics, Sunbrella fabrics, and mildew and fade resistant options. At our design center, we house a beautiful selection of fabrics and we have a plethora of manufacturers to work from. Whether you have wet bathing suits or even spilled ice cream, these durable fabrics hold up to the wear and tear. Outdoor fabrics are bright and fun and can liven up your space and get you excited for Spring!
