To continue our point of view of what this year’s Spring market brought to designers, we had to post another blog. Dramatic moments came with every turn…the main building at Interhall is where we saw Duralee’s showroom. They added a line of brightly colored fabrics by well-known designer John Robshaw. We can’t wait to get these fabrics in our shop in Clemmons. Beautifully designed to coordinate with multiple prints and perfect pairings, the fabrics could be seen in shades of blue, coral, red, green, yellow, aqua, and pink, layered with neutral and fun designs. Some manufacturers like Woodard exhibited lovely outdoor furnishings and fabrics with bright pops of color. All of our NC manufacturers such as Ambella Home, Hickory Chair, Stanford, Miles Talbott/Michael Thomas, and Lillian August/Hickory White presented performance and sustainable fabrics. Sunbrella and Crypton fabrics are heavy duty and stain resistant–a popular choice for buyers with pets and small children. We love how they are marrying these options into their offered fabrics for furnishings.
