We totally get it when our clients say they want to love their homes. Homes are important to all of us, and it seems more so these days. When I was growing up, our house was a Mid Century Modern ranch style. Mid Century has circled back around as a fashionable style. I see browns, greens, and orange resurfacing, which is what my mom’s house was decorated in. It is one of many styles today that are popular. Other important styles we are seeing are French Modern and Traditional. For the French Modern style, you see lighter wood flooring that are somewhat whitewashed, and another floor style resurfacing is Herringbone style wood floors that are bone stained natural over oak. It is a beautiful finish which should be around for a while. Finding the right finish for hardwoods is challenging. But we love a challenge. Remember it is all about falling in love with your home.
