The best part of the holidays is spending time together with family and friends. We are looking forward to cooking something different for Christmas after finishing with Thanksgiving and too much rich food. We are going to have tenderloin sliders and 3 to 4 vegetable dishes for the kids to choose from. My treasures come out particularly my vintage items from my mom. Those items make me feel like she is with us. If you are planning to be at home during the holidays, bring out those old items that make you feel connected. Inviting and cozy is the best part of holidays and spending time together. If you are in the mood for crafts with the family, bring out some craft paper and stamp art to create wrapping paper for the children to wrap their presents with and/or other crafts that create memories for them. Our home will be decorated with fresh-smelling pine to bring the smell of Christmas to our home, and I have some candles as well with the scent of Christmas. I love low lighting with vintage brass candlesticks adorning tables. I have tablecloths and napkins that I purchased in Atlanta while living there 30 years ago. Glad Tidings to everyone and Good Cheer.
