For me, designing an interior is like composing music. Creating a pleasing harmony is accomplished by layering and juxtaposing colors, patterns, textures. It also includes interweaving antiques, European and American furniture, and lighting. We want to develop a new American Tradition for our clients, whether they want a Modern, Traditional or Transitional look. Natural light is taken into consideration when planning your dream home. This is especially important, so the right colors go into the room. When given the opportunity, we often ask for 10’ ceilings to enlarge the room, but we can make an 8’ ceiling home look stunning, as well. When we finish with a space, we calculate in our brains which things to add or take away so it overall look feels melodious, not decorated.
