The beautiful weather this weekend was the perfect introduction to autumn. As the leaves change it is also time to change our homes as we prepare to welcome family and friends for holiday visits. Task and gift lists begin. I passed by a store window yesterday and saw a pair of owl earrings. My daughter loves owls so I added them to my list of things to put in her stocking. I love finding little treasures that surprise her. She turned 21 this year, but still makes a list of items she hopes to receive from Santa.
Have you made your list for your decorating needs? Paint…check, new sofa…check, new curtains…check. We’ve been rearranging the store and putting up Christmas decorations and have done just enough to have one huge mess on our hands. Make sure you begin early this year so you will have plenty of time to enjoy the holiday season.
