Our clients came to us to help transform their large basement into a play area for their young children. They wanted a built-in playhouse that could be removed once the kids outgrow it. We decided on a design plan that would be relatively easy to build without having much impact on the existing walls and floor. After meeting with our contractor to iron out the details, he soon got to work building a wall scaled appropriately for the children that would resemble the outside of a house. We included windows, a small door, a roof, and even a flower box for the window. We found a plush green carpet to be the grass outside of the house, and had a picket fence made for the adjacent wall. Our clients loved the results, and we were thrilled to be part of such a fun project!
