At the High Point Furniture Market, we ascertained that mid-century modern is back. Characterized by sleek lines, smooth rounded wood legs, and minimal hardware, we saw several examples of mid-century modern pieces, many with a 21st century flare. Each showroom had multiple selections of furnishings, from bedroom suits to dining room buffets to artwork and upholstered goods, even wood lamps.
