Recently, we finished a new house in Greensboro, NC and the outdoor loggia was very important to them. The loggia functions as an outdoor living room, perfect for entertaining. One of our smartest decisions was to build a fireplace and design the seating area round it. The clients can light the fire on a cool night and relax there for hours. A TV over the fireplace is great for family movies and the client decided to screen the loggia, which keeps the bugs out. The loggia was also designed to be clean and tailored. Now all they need to do is find time to really enjoy their new space. Currently, we are working on the area outside the loggia for the grill and some seating. Hopefully, our find of an antique French glider will be a key design element in this outdoor arrangement.
