As the week passes, the holidays are moving closer. Time totally gets away from most of us as it does me. I did remind my husband we needed to order food because my kids are coming home with our granddaughter. He is out and about today purchasing what we might need to cook. At my office in Clemmons, we are busy finishing up designs for several clients. One home is in Wilmington where we are finalizing the finishes, electrical, closets designs, and furniture layout. Next, we will finalize the furniture needed. We have one fabric that has been approved for the family room sofa. We just finished the same client’s home in W-S, and the finial delivery will happen over the next few weeks. Their Winston-Salem home was created with a botanical theme. I have to say, it is so pleasurable to walk into this space because you feel right at home. Lots of neutrals, blues, and greens. We used accented wallpaper for the office in a wood dimensional look behind the desk. It created a dimensional wall in a small space. In the master bedroom, we used a Kelly Werstler wallpaper of geometrics and hemp behind the bed. This room will come together the week after next with the bed delivery. I can’t wait to see the final touches with the artwork added. For the powder room on the main level, we added a Thibaut landscape wallpaper with an outdoor abundance of green trees. Our clients visit their second home often and constantly tell us how much they love their home. That is our reward. Happy clients.
