Selecting paint colors can be a chanllenge, so seeking a professional is good advice.  Just changing the paint in your home can change the overall look and freshen up your space for a low cost.  However, no one wants to paint twice.  Seek a professional’s help and do it right the 1st time.  You may see a paint color you like in a friend’s home, but that doesn’t mean it will work in your home.  You must consider your lighting, the color of your furnishings, and the feel you are trying to convey.  Selecting paint colors is not an easy task.  We’ve seen homes with pink walls, where the homeowner thought they were painting beige, but ending up with a peachy pink.    Even with years of experience, we sample several colors to see which one is the best for the project we are working on.  We start by selecting a handful of colors and then paint a sample of that color on a large board.  Holding a 3” paint chip sample up the wall isn’t going to cut it.

Please remember.  When selecting paint colors, everyone has their favorites.  We do, too.  However, it is important to know that every room and home is unique.  If you are having trouble finding the perfect color, it may be time to call a professional.
