We have been working on a Winston-Salem home that the client wanted to be understated modern.  We are having a lot of fun interjecting a pizzazz of colors into all the rooms of the home.  Light Benjamin Moore Dove Wing walls and whitish laminate wood floors along with White Dove trim are our wall color choices.  Our client loves gold finish light fixtures that look great with lighter walls and ultimately exude modern.  We are planning to change out the door hardware in the kitchen and laundry, as well as the faucets in those two rooms to add more gold.    We ordered furniture for all the bedrooms, living room, dining room, foyer, and sunroom.    Furnishings have started to come in and the excitement begins.  A custom order painting was ordered to coordinate with all the colors planned for the home.  Sherry McAdams is the artist of choice.  There is much more planning to be done for the final coordinated artwork and accessories.  Corals, teals, blues, aqua, and greens are all the pizzazz our client loves.  Although we have added some black and gold pillows for the master and a zebra rug for the sunroom, we also added some tans and creams to the furnishings to coordinate with the zebra rug in the sunroom.  Interjecting black, but not heavily, with the light walls will give dimension to the other furnishings.   We have photos of the job in progress but will provide additional photos once we finish or as we install more furnishings.  The home has an open feeling from the foyer throughout the living room, kitchen, and sunroom.  The bedrooms are on each end of this one level home.
