Choosing furniture is like choosing friends, it can be hard to pinpoint what makes a good friend great. There is always the X-factor that makes the best stand out. With this house, I felt like all became friends—the house, the client, and our design firm. Looking for a common thread to make the home feel warm and cozy was foremost on our minds as we selected the furniture, accessories, paint colors, countertops, tile and all the needed elements. The common noteworthy denominator could be nail heads of hammered silver, antique gray finishes for the furniture, scraped wood floors with a Min wax gray stain and multiple textures of fabric and wall finishes. We are thrilled with the finished product, we love how the photos of this home speak boldly of beautiful living. We hope you enjoy.
