A good designer’s original impulse is almost always correct when selecting furniture or accessories for your home. This theory is what I have lived by almost all of my adult life. I even trained my children to trust that little voice in their heads, whether it is writing the answer on a test or choosing furniture for their first apartment. I tell JDI designers “if you are comfortable with your taste and your knowledge, then the original impulse is the answer.” Try this theory and I promise you that it will be easy to purchase your first piece or your last piece of furniture for your home.
