These before and after photos show the huge impact furniture and bedding can make in a room. What once felt heavy is light, airy, and calming. We changed the dark, wooden bed to a custom upholstered headboard. The color of the headboard lightens the room, and the upholstery brings in a texture that is softer than the hard edged lines of wood. Light bedding was selected to complete the effect. Another great tip: Machine washable linens…the organic linens were made in the USA and are machine washable even though they don’t look like it.
