This hall bathroom is a project our firm recently completed. June DeLugas Interiors remodeled the client’s kitchen two years ago and the family turned to us again because they wanted the same custom cabinets in their bathroom. A trip to the plumbing store to select fixtures was the first thing on our list. The next item was the cabinet choice and style. We removed the wall between the cabinet and commode to enlarge the space. June designed cabinets to sit on top of recycled glass countertops. Can lights were installed in a soffit above the mirror that fit between the two top cabinets. They were also added in the bathroom to create more light. We selected a creamy neutral tone tile and used it on the floor and the tub surround. We installed the tile on a diagonal and cut 4” dots in a blue veined marble. On the fifth row up the wall, we implemented a border of the same tile on the diagonal. We did not want the pattern to compete with the dots on the floor. The walls were painted Wickham Gray from Benjamin Moore. The customer is very content with their new bathroom and called to compliment everyone involved in this project. The before and after photos tell the story, but satisfied clients who refer us to friends and family are the best compliment of all.
