Tuesday’s Tip – An “Odd Space” Provides Inspiration for Artist and Musician

Often, my clients have an unusual space in their home and aren’t sure how to address decorating the area. This musically gifted homeowner had a dilemma because they wanted to create a welcoming area as guests entered the home, but their beloved keyboard needed to occupy the space as well. The homeowner, I, and artist Leigh Ann Alexander collaborated to paint this original mural which serves to decorate the area around the piano and incorporates the colors and décor in the adjoining rooms. The muted tones in the mural softly define the area while providing an inspiring musical nook. I think the area is a hit.
