When we met with a client in Burlington to analyze how we could help her, she explained that the reason she called us was that JDI had designed her sister’s house a few years back and she loved what we had done. That is the best compliment you can get. We were delighted to work on her project. The before and after photos speak a thousand words. We started with a scaled drawing, as we always do, to choose options for new furnishings and rugs. Instead of the sectional she had, we decided that two sofas with ottomans would better serve their needs. Her favorite colors are blue and coral/orange. We managed to keep a neutral classic feel, but added the colors where needed with lamps, artwork, pillows, an accent chair in coral, and blue accessories on the bookshelves. They absolutely love their new room. One more important thing, we painted everything Clay Beige and the laundry room Wickham Gray, both by Benjamin Moore. A new carpet runner was added to their entry stairs, as well as new carpeting for their living space.
