Designers notoriously love different textures in a room. Normally we begin with fabrics, but, don’t think that texture is limited only to fabrics. To create a room, you start with all the textures of fabric, rugs, window treatments, wall color, wall paper, upholstery and accessories combined. You can see what I mean when I say the list goes on and on. Each day our design showroom receives fabric from manufacturers that sell fabric and trim or upholstery companies. In other words, we are always receiving updates to company catalogues in our design center. When we begin a design project, we have the most current world of options at our fingertips. Just to name a few of our manufacturers: Colfax and Fowler, Kravet, Fabricut, Stout, Duralee, Robert Allen, Roma, Schumacher, and Salamander, and the list goes on. Some of our furniture manufacturers include Hickory Chair, Hickory White, The Miles Talbott Company, Lillian August, Ambella, Bassett, Stanford, Leathercraft, and more. They are all NC manufacturers that we support wholeheartedly. As much as possible, “Made in America” is our motto. Can you now see why textures are more interesting?
