Delivering furniture and putting the final touches on a home is only part of what we do with our “white-glove” service. For this home, the customer needed design help first along with a structural change. The two-story family room, with an upstairs overhang, bothered the couple. They felt they could never make it look comfortable. We downloaded the room dimensions into our CAD software and created a new inclusive look for them. The two-story room always felt tall and overwhelming to the client, so we divided the room in half with wide molding, penciled in shiplap for one wall and accented the fireplace with shiplap, too. We then designed a new TV cabinet, which the contractor turned into a fashionable live edge top with barn doors. The wood live edge mantle would also warm up the white shiplap. We then delivered the furniture and the dream design came to life.
