My wife Penny and I have lived in our house for over 30 years with very little changes.  As we began looking to renovate, we knew we would need the help of an Interior designer.  After checking around, we received a recommendation for June DeLugas.  We had an initial meeting with June to review our house and to get her ideas for our renovation.  From our initial meeting, June demonstrated a unique ability to not only understand our vision but also to bring it to life with innovative ideas. June was very patient with us and considered our preferences while also offering valuable opinions on layout, finishes, furniture, fabrics, and color selections. We wanted to Phase our major renovation while we occupied our house, and June was very accommodating and patient with our request.
We were particularly impressed by June’s creativity and practicality. For our Phase 1 kitchen renovation, June suggested combining our utility room and pantry together into a flex room, which we would never have considered without her prompting. While we were hesitant at first, June convinced us this would be a focal point of the kitchen renovation.  Now we are so glad we listened to June’s recommendation as the flex room is a perfect space and very functional. We were so pleased with June’s selection of fixtures, colors and furniture. June and her team went above and beyond to provide colored renderings for Penny and I to see her vision and understand what to expect with the finished product.  
As we moved into Phase 2 of our renovation, we were excited to see June’s vision for our see-thru fireplace, sunroom, living room and dining room.  We were especially impressed with June’s idea of a coffered ceiling in the dining room with wallpaper on the ceiling between the grids. This has turned out to be one of our favorite design features.
As we have now completed our renovation, we are absolutely thrilled with the results, and our home now feels perfectly suited to us. We highly recommend June and her team and would not hesitate to work with them again on any future projects.
